The Department of Surgery at The University of North Carolina is seeking applications for a full-time academic podiatrist to join our Vascular Surgery Division. The Division of Vascular Surgery is among 9 clinical Divisions in the Department of Surgery. The Division currently includes 6 faculty members (1 podiatrist and 5 vascular surgeons) that provide a broad array of clinical services in order to provide the highest quality care for lower extremity wound and podiatry patients. Academic appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
The ideal applicant will have an interest in diabetic foot and ankle management, general podiatry and podiatric surgery. Experience is desirable, but not required. Applicants with research experience in clinical outcomes and quality, health services research, or basic science/translational research are strongly encouraged to apply, as are applicants with research experience in podiatric medicine and surgery……click here for additional information
